I stepped onto the healing path after experiencing a series of traumatic breakdowns in my life and many years of severe chronic pain that had defied conventional medical treatments, leaving me almost crippled.

Although at the time it felt like been ripped apart, I now see those experiences as a blessing in disguise. The collapse of old structures that no longer served me and the dark night of the soul that followed were a wake-up call, a catalyst for transformation and change, a gateway I had to cross to begin a journey towards deeper awareness, authenticity and sovereignty in my life.

Illness gave me plenty of grist for the mill of my soul work and the impetus to become a student of the healing arts, initially to work on myself, and then with a desire to alleviate the suffering of others.

Reiki and shamanic healing have been instrumental in expanding my consciousness, helping me to lift the veil beyond the physical and glimpse into the great mystery, experience the unity of body, mind and soul, feel the invisible threads of energy that connect all of existence, beyond time and space. They have helped me to achieve greater harmony, centredness and purpose in my life, to embrace the whole human experience, even in the darkest hour, with the awareness of being held, supported, safe, in the web of all that is.

My wish is to share, through my healing and teaching work, the many blessings and wisdom I have received - and continue to receive - along the way.

The name I was given at birth is Francesca, but the name that time and again Spirit whispered to my ear during shamanic work is Farah. I love and use them both, for they share their roots with the words “freedom” and “joy”, and hint at the work that I’m doing in this life journey for myself and in the service of others.
